Yasmin Ahammad is an enthusiastic and dedicated fundraising professional with a master’s degree in Developmental Studies from Birkbeck College, University of London, U.K. She has achieved considerable success over the last five years with various charities: increasing fundraising sources; improving charity based websites; arranging events for potential donors; and implementing strategies to maximize fundraising activities.
She recently received a high commendation from the U.K. Director of Child In Need India (CINI) where she has volunteered. She produced a huge turnaround of funds for CINI in a very short span of time. Her intensive experience created a demand for her to work with the Brain Research Trust and Florence Nightingale Museum in London.
Yasmin is extremely compassionate with a compelling desire to improve the lives of others. She is capable and driven to provide high quality marketing, financial and project management skills and is able to work well under pressure. Her new role as Fundraising and Grants Manager will be to solicit new and increased donations to support the ongoing growth and activities at the Mae Tao Clinic.
